Cornerstone Church of Albemarle

Welcome to Cornerstone! We are so glad that you decided to visit our website. There are many fine churches in our community. If you are already involved in one, we want to encourage you continue to be an active and supportive member. However if you are looking for a church home we would like to invite you to come and check us out! We meet at every Sunday at 10:00 AM at 470 Twinkling Springs Road near the junction of I-64 and Rt. 250. (See our Contact Page for directions.) We also would like to invite you to visit one of our in home cell groups. Cell leaders serve as Deacons in Cornerstone. (More information on Cell Groups.)

Cornerstone is a body of believers committed to intimacy with God through intercessory prayer, whole-hearted worship, practical and relevant Biblical instruction, authentic life-transformation and the building of Christ-centered relationships. We are committed to sharing the good news with others in the attitude of one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread. We are confident that you will find an atmosphere of God's love, acceptance and forgiveness in any one of our cell group or Celebration services.

The Cornerstone Church of Albemarle is a church plant from Cornerstone Church and Ministries International located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Cornerstone and affiliated churches are located in Virginia and on the east coast of the United States in six states and seven foreign countries. Each congregation consists of four to thirty cell groups. Each of the congregations is under the spiritual oversight of one or more staff pastors. The cell groups and congregations in Cornerstone are an extended church family and are not limited to any geographical area.

Pastor Jon Quesenberry holds a MDiv. Degree from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg Virginia. He has been the pastor at Cornerstone in Crozet for the past five years. Jon and his wife Carol have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls ages 21, 19, 17 and 15 and have lived in Albemarle County for over 20 years.
